US (OH): $191M in sales for Ohio since August, state reveals

Ohio dispensaries have sold nearly $200 million in adult-use marijuana since the program launched in August, according to new state data.

Product sales hit $191 million by the end of November with over 2.5 million receipts on the books, the Division of Cannabis Control reported last week. Adults 21 and older could start buying recreational marijuana in August, months after Ohioans voted to legalize adult-use cannabis.

"The cat's not going back in the bag," Ohio Cannabis Coalition spokesperson Tom Haren said during a panel last week. "Ohio has a legal, adult-use program. That program is here to stick around."
