More than 100 pounds of marijuana was found in four suitcases at the Nashville International Airport on a flight from California Thursday.
Officers searched luggage that arrived on a Southwest flight from Sacramento around 4 p.m.
According to court documents, airport K-9 Peggy detected the scent of narcotics coming from four pieces of luggage on the flight.
The luggage was loaded onto the baggage claim belt and investigators waited until the bags were claimed by a man and two women, according to Metro police.
A total of 113 pounds of marijuana was found across all four bags. Officers took Kamery Perkins, 20, Tamia Sims-Irby, 20, and Marquice Lester, 30, into custody and all were charged with felony drug offenses.
No additional information was immediately released.
