Greece, N.Y. — Seven men face charges after as a result of a Greece Police Department investigation into illegal cannabis sales.
Authorities raided nine local businesses Wednesday as part of an investigation that began in May.

- Red Eye, East Ridge Road, Irondequoit
- Diva Hair Designers, East Ridge Road, Irondequoit
- Red Eye CBD, Empire Boulevard, Penfield
- Lift Off Smoke Shop, Monroe Avenue, Rochester
- McCall Mini Mart, McCall Road, Rochester
- Red Eye, Buffalo Road, Ogden
- High End Smoke Shop, East Henrietta Road, Henrietta
Police said none of the businesses were licensed to sell cannabis.
Authorities also executed search warrants at six homes. Wednesday's searches uncovered drugs and money, which were seized.
- 129 pounds of bulk cannabis
- 826 pounds of THC products
- 108 pounds of psilocybin products
- $628,000 in currency
- $459,083 from bank accounts
Five vehicles were also searched and seized.
The suspects are all charged with criminal possession of cannabis and conspiracy.

The New York State Office of Cannabis Management closed all the businesses that were searched.
Red Eye's Stoneridge Plaza location was previously raided in April 2023 for illegal cannabis sales. Investigators determined the owner and operator were operating multiple businesses and illegally selling cannabis in Monroe County.
The Greece Town Board voted in December 2021 to opt out of allowing cannabis dispensaries to open in the town.
